We are looking for a highly passionate and hands-on Product Engineering Lead who can take ownership of our indigenous RC Remote and future drone communication systems development at Nerve Cells AI.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building real-world electronic products from concept to production and can guide a growing team of young engineers and interns. You should be comfortable working across firmware, embedded systems, RF communication, hardware integration, testing, and product architecture.
We are not looking for a pure manager. We are looking for a builder, problem solver, mentor, and technical leader who enjoys startup culture and innovation-driven environments.
The ideal candidate should have experience working on embedded systems, wireless communication products, drones, IoT devices, robotics, telemetry systems, or defence electronics.
What You Will Be Doing
Lead the end-to-end development of RC Remote and embedded communication systems
Guide firmware, hardware, and embedded engineering teams
Define overall product architecture and technical roadmap
Review PCB designs, schematics, firmware logic, and communication protocols
Improve RF communication stability, latency, range, and reliability
Work on wireless technologies like LoRa, RF modules, telemetry, and communication systems
Coordinate with vendors, manufacturing partners, and component suppliers
Drive prototype development, testing, debugging, and production readiness
Create engineering processes, documentation standards, and testing methodologies
Mentor junior engineers and interns
Participate in field testing and real-world validation
Optimize products for manufacturability, performance, and scalability
Collaborate closely with founders on product strategy and innovation
