Radio Frequency Intern (6 Months internship)

Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented RF Intern who is passionate about wireless communication and radio frequency design. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of RF and microwave systems and a keen interest in developing, testing, and optimizing RF circuits and transceiver systems. You’ll be working closely with our engineering team to design and analyze RF components, participate in hands-on prototyping, and contribute to building next-generation wireless technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Design, simulate, and optimize RF/microwave circuits and systems, including filters, amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and antennas.
2. Perform Free Space Path Loss (FSPL) analysis and range calculations for wireless communication links.
3. Conduct schematic capture, layout verification, and EM simulations to ensure design accuracy.
4. Build, test, and troubleshoot RF prototypes using Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
5. Optimize key RF performance parameters such as gain, return loss, phase noise, linearity, and efficiency.
6. Collaborate with PCB design, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure smooth system-level integration.

Bonus Points for Familiarity with

1. FSK transmitters and receivers, and frequency spread spectrum (FSS) techniques.
2. Experience with simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, ANSYS HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or MATLAB.
3. Understanding of RF propagation, impedance matching, and noise figure optimization.
4. Prior exposure to RF test setups, calibration techniques, or antenna measurement.

Educational Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
2. 0 to 2 years of experience or academic project exposure in RF and Microwave Engineering.
3. Must have knowledge of Basic electronics.

Salary

Stipend of INR 5000 per month (5000 x 6 = 30000), in which each intern will get 2500/- per month cash in hand, and 2500 per month will be kept and will be given (2500 x 6 = 15000) at the time of completion of the internship to support savings.

Working Days

Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend flexibility based on project need). Alternating Saturdays may be working based on workload.

Working Hours

From 10:00 AM. 

8 hours a day, excluding breaks.
